THE Maranatha Reconciliation Church (MRC), under the national leadership of Founding Bishop Rodrick Mbwambo, has concluded its long-awaited Annual National Convention with a powerful outpouring of worship, teaching, and revival. From September 9–14, the MRC headquarters in Kigamboni became a dynamic center of renewal, hosting 793 participants, including 100 pastors from across Tanzania and 117 children.

Each day featured four dynamic teaching sessions anchored on the convention’s prophetic theme. Guest bishops Tom Omkhobelo and Caleb Mulewa of Kenya ministered under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, delivering uplifting messages that drew standing applause and heartfelt praise.

Bishop Rodrick Mbwambo emphasized the spiritual awakening of today’s Church, preaching from 2 Kings 6:1 and recounting how Elisha prayed for his servant’s eyes to be opened to the heavenly army surrounding them. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them,” he reminded the congregation, urging believers to perceive God’s protection in every season.

Life-Changing Messages

Highlights included:

  • Pastor Prisca Mkoma, with her husband Mr. Jimmy Mkoma, sharing “The Marriage Cord Without Knots” (Ephesians 5:22–25), a testimony of forgiveness and enduring love.
  • Pastor Samson E. Mbwambo, teaching “Wealth Is Found When Sought Diligently” (Genesis 13:2; Job 1:1–3), inspiring economic empowerment rooted in faith.
  • Dr. Joshua Mkoma, presenting “The Dangers of Plastic Products,” urging believers to reduce PET plastic use and embrace eco-friendly water refills.

Other memorable sessions included Bishop Caleb’s “What Do You See?” (2 Samuel 11:26), “Connected to the Grace Upon God’s Servant” (2 Kings 4:8–17), and “Becoming a Voice” (Hebrews 11:4).

Bishop Tom challenged the church with “Two Lost Sons” (Luke 15:11–32), calling believers to repentance and renewed holiness.

Worship and Fellowship

Praise and worship were electric throughout the week, led by Neema Simon, Boniphace, and the united MRC Praise & Worship Team. The convention choir, Next Glory Singers from MRC Nduguti–Singida, filled the grounds with harmonies that lifted glorified God.

Women, youth, and men held dedicated national meetings. Mrs. Anna Ntulwa led the women’s session, rallying women to active participation in the Great Commission and to become strong, resourceful supporters of ministry. National Youth Pastor Samwel Lazaro and National Youth Chairman Isack Mahuvi encouraged young believers to stand firm and excel despite life’s challenges.

From sunrise to sunset, praise and worship flowed like a river. The convention anthem, “Open Our Eyes That We May See,” led by Neema Simon, Boniphace, and the united MRC Worship Team, lifted the atmosphere into vibrant celebration.
