The youth are strong, and they have overcome Satan
YOUTH IN ACTION
Bishop Rodrick Mbwambo, by God’s grace, received a vision to take the gospel to rural Tanzania. His passion is to see forgotten villages reached, churches planted, and youth empowered to serve. From this vision the MRC Youth Ministry was born, now led nationally by Mr. Isack Mahuvi (Chair), Mr. Novatus Ngowi (Co-chair), Mr. Joshua Mkoma (Secretary), and Ms. Jackline Kazimili (Treasurer).
CAMPUS OUTREACH
The MRC Youth Ministry runs a vibrant campus program reaching academic institutions across Tanzania. Campuses such as IFM, UDSM, UHASIBU, CBE, and others have received the gospel through tract distribution and service invitations. The ministry also cares for students who join MRC temporarily while pursuing their studies.
STREET & HOUSE WITNESSING
MRC youth actively engage in street-to-street and house-to-house witnessing. They move in groups through local streets, homes, markets, and bus stands—sharing the gospel, distributing tracts, praying for the sick, and casting out demons. Using megaphones or natural preaching, they bring the message of Christ to everyday places.
BEYOND EVANGELISM: SERVING IN THE CHURCH
MRC youth are guided by pastors and elders to uncover their God-given calling. Some serve in full-time ministry, while others contribute through church areas such as music & worship, sound & media, children’s ministry, outreach teams, prayer, digital & creative media, hospitality & ushers, and church care & maintenance (cleanliness, upkeep, etc.). Every role is vital, showing that serving God comes in many forms beyond the fivefold ministry.
