Our Statement of Faith

In response to the rise of false teachings in Tanzania, MRC is committed to upholding sound biblical doctrine and boldly proclaiming our beliefs to stand firm in biblical truth

Belief No. 1

We believe that the Word of God, which is the Bible, is the ultimate authority in the life of every believer.

Belief No. 2

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

Belief No. 3

We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life on earth and that His ministry was marked by miracles, as revealed in the Holy Bible.

Belief No. 4

We believe in the death of Christ on the cross for the sins of the world, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension to the right hand of God the Father.

Belief No. 5

We believe in blessing children and, upon personal faith in Christ, baptizing adult believers by full immersion in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Belief No. 6

6. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in new tongues and empowerment for God’s work.

Belief No. 7

We believe in divine healing as part of God's redemptive work through Christ, made available to believers through faith and prayer.

Belief No. 8

We believe in holy marriage between one man and one woman, both being believers, and blessed by the church.

Belief No. 9

We believe in the bodily resurrection of believers before the rapture of the Church.

Belief No. 10

We believe in the rapture of the Church, which will occur before the Great Tribulation.

Belief No. 11

We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, returning with the saints after the Great Tribulation to reign on earth for a thousand years.

Belief No. 12

We believe in the resurrection of the unbelievers, which will occur shortly before the final judgment.

Belief No. 13

We believe in the Last Judgment, after which Satan and all who have rejected Jesus as Savior will be cast into everlasting lake of fire, also known as Gehenna.
