WOMEN ON MISSION

WOMEN ON MISSION

The Women on Mission Ministry at MRC exists to empower women—both married and single—for the work of God. Our vision is to instill a deep spiritual understanding of the Word of God, helping women discover their true identity: though they are women, they are strong, capable, and chosen by God for impactful service. Just as God used women in biblical times—like Esther, Deborah, Hannah, and Abigail—and in modern times through leaders such as Catherine Kulmah, He continues to call women to serve with boldness and faith.

Beyond spiritual growth, Women on Mission is committed to economic empowerment. Recognizing that many women in Tanzania face financial dependence, the ministry provides biblical insights on prosperity and organizes training seminars to equip women with practical skills for developing profitable income-generating projects.

The ministry also emphasizes family care and faithfulness. Women are instructed on nurturing and raising children biblically, demonstrating love and godly leadership in their households, and remaining steadfast in faithfulness to their husbands—especially those whose spouses are not yet born again. Women are called to be the beacons of their families, shining God’s light in the home and modeling godly character to all family members.

The ministry is chaired by Mrs. Anna Ntulwa, with Dr. Bilhida Msangi serving as Secretary and Joseline Kashula as Treasurer. Operating under the core mission of MRC, Women on Mission reflects the broader vision of the church—raising women who live holy lives, are rooted in prayer, and actively impact their families, communities, and nation for Christ.

She is the founder and leader of a special MRC women’s prayer group, made up of select prayer warriors including pastors’ wives, women elders, and mature believers from MRC churches across Tanzania. The mission of this group is to intercede for revival and the advancement of ministry within MRC as well as other denominations.
